The Wyland Waikiki will soon be flying a new flag, while still under our management. Hotel owner, Lodging Capital Partners LLC, has signed a franchise agreement with Marriott International’s moderately-priced Courtyard by Marriott brand to market the 404-room hotel as the Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach, effective this June. Arizona Cardinal wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald held a special autograph session last week at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach. Children from families at the Next Step Shelter in Kakaako and H-5 (Hawaii Helping the Hungry Have Hope) were Larry’s special guests, along with hundreds of fans who showed up to meet and greet the football megastar.
