Management and staff at The Outrigger on the Lagoon – Fiji (FOR) have been extremely busy over the last two weeks sewing and quilting new blankets for the children at Treasure House orphanage.

Women in Leadership
By Dr. Richard Kelley
There are many outstanding female leaders in Travel & Tourism, politics, business, the media, entertainment, sports, and science. That never surprised me because my mother Estelle L. Her voyage was part of a joint effort by seven Pacific islands groups to preserve and develop their traditions of ocean voyaging in double-hulled canoes.
Manoa Rasigatale and two of his crew stopped in at the Outrigger on the Lagoon – Fiji. He was Master of Ceremony on the last night of the Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange in 2000, when the Outrigger on the Lagoon – Fiji was host.

Outrigger Laguna Resort and Villas hit over 90 percent occupancy this month! Our ultra busy Sales and Reservations Team has been working very hard to get Outrigger Laguna Resort and Villas back to high occupancy! Having opened only eight months ago and then enduring a tough second quarter from political turmoil in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, it was pleasing to see our third quarter start so strongly. Securing 90 percent occupancy heading into July is a wonderful achievement. Congratulations to our Sales and Reservations Team who has worked tirelessly to fill the hotel! Your efforts have paid off!
