Please join Human Resources in congratulating and commending Room Attendant Judy Soloman of the Outrigger Guam Resort’s Housekeeping department who was the recipient of this quarter’s Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association’s (GHRA) Beyond the Call of Duty INTEGRITY AWARD.

thought the $100 bill left on her guest’s pillow might have been a mistake. The Front Office immediately contacted the registered guest and informed them of Judy’s report. The guest did, in fact, mistakenly leave the $100 bill on the pillow. The guest was so impressed with Judy’s honesty and integrity that they gave her a $10 tip for that day.

The Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association’s Beyond the Call of Duty INTEGRITY AWARD serves to recognize actions performed beyond the individual’s outlined job description in protecting property and/or initiating the return process for lost or stolen property at one’s place of employment.

On behalf of the Staff and Management of the Outrigger Guam Resort, we thank Judy for her good deed, and we are certain that her honest act left the guest with an outstanding impression of the Outrigger Guam Resort, our island and its peoples.
