The Outrigger on the Lagoon - Fiji (FOR) gathered together to honor their outstanding employees for the month of February and to recognize members of our vuvale (family) who have celebrated birthdays. Everyone enjoyed afternoon tea, cakes, and cookies, but most of all the Bula Spirit.

General Manager Darren Shaw thanked the vuvale for their incredible dedication, hard work, and their ongoing commitment to the community. He also highlighted the changes that are taking place at the property, including the new look of the Vakavanua Lounge and the addition of exciting televised sporting events at The Baravi Bar.

Carol Kahili, Executive Housekeeper of the Embassy Suites® - Waikiki Beach Walk® in Honolulu also addressed the group. Carol was at the property to train the FOR’s new Acting Housekeeping Manager Tepola Natadra. Carol recalled her first trip to Fiji — 8 years and 5 months ago — when she came to train the pre-opening staff and said she was thrilled to have been chosen to return. She also complimented the staff on the impeccable service they provide and said she was very happy to see the Bula Spirit alive and well.
