Wyndham at Waikiki Beach Walk® Celebrates Paddle 2 in Conjunction with New Lobby Unveiling
BY SHANNON YADON — On Friday, April 13, the Wyndham at Waikiki Beach Walk Resort celebrated the opening of their newly renovated lobby. Tiffani ‘Napualei’ Saunders led a cultural ceremony and blessing including the ceremonial untying of Maile lei. The Hawaiian story of the Naupaka flower, which served as an inspirational muse in the design of the lobby, was shared with all those in attendance. Guests could see carvings of the flower on the new front desk and the actual plant housed in planters around the resort. This ‘ohana-style celebration invited resort employees and in-house guests to share in the ceremony and a social mixer, with sparkling cider and Naupaka-decorated cupcakes, that followed. Outrigger Spreads Easter Joy to Military Families
BY NANCY DANIELS — This past Easter was made a little brighter for some deserving military families thanks to Outrigger Easter Bunnies working together with community groups. Military Liaison Mildred Courtney was joined by Jerry Dolak, Conchita Malaqui, Chuck Shishido and Jose Solorio who opted to drive rather than hop on down to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam for a very special presentation of Easter baskets created by Outrigger employees, with assistance by the Girls Scouts and the USO. Prime Minister Visits Outrigger on the Lagoon – Fiji
BY UNA MURRAY — On April 12, the Outrigger on the Lagoon – Fiji (FOR) had a surprise visit from Solomon Islands Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo and his wife. Journalist Bruce Hill Checks Out Outrigger on the Lagoon – Fiji

Bruce is one of the Pacific’s most experienced journalists, having worked for both Radio Australia and Radio New Zealand. The Diamond Award is presented to business partners having achieved top volume in sales, as well as overall excellence in facilities and customer service. The Outrigger Guam Resort has garnered this recognition annually since 2008. The Customer Satisfaction Award is bestowed upon partners that receive the highest positive ratings from Rakuten Travel customers.
