2011 XTERRA Trail Run World Championships

Since January, thousands of runners have taken part in the worldwide XTERRA Trail Run Series that has spanned 15 U.S. states and several countries. This past Sunday, December 4, the series culminated with the 2011 XTERRA Trail Run World Championships at Kualoa Ranch, and Outrigger Hotels & Resorts was there as a long-time XTERRA sponsor. Aurora Chamber Defense Council Breakfast Meeting

Outrigger Participates in U.S Chamber’s Hiring Our Heroes

Very early morning on November 14, Janice Yee, Chad Teramae and I arrived at Hickam Air Force Base to represent Outrigger Enterprises at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Hiring Our Heroes job fair supported by over 60 other local businesses. Attendance by Military, veterans and spouses was impressive to say the least. Most, if not all, had heard about Outrigger, making our job easier when promoting our company. This Wednesday, November 9, I had a delightful breakfast with one of Outrigger’s longest-serving employees, Mildred Courtney. Actually, we were joined by several hundred more people – like me, all admirers of Mildred, including two tables filled with colleagues from the Outrigger ‘ohana.
