Spread the word! Embassy Suites – Waikiki Beach Walk is offerings its first-ever Thanksgiving Day Dinner Buffet on November 26, 2009, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the hotel’s Grand Lanai. Guava-glazed sweet potatoes with toasted coconut, pumpkin soup with brandy, and oven-roasted turkey with cranberry-ginger chutney — these are just a few of the mouthwatering menu items that will be featured at our first-ever Thanksgiving Day Buffet…and you can’t beat the price — just $29.95 for adults and $15.95 for kids.

Living in Hawaii, we have so much to be thankful for — enjoying Thanksgiving Day with family and friends over a great meal is a wonderful tradition, and one that our resort is proud to be a part of. For our first-ever Thanksgiving event, we invite everyone to come enjoy a delicious feast, priced lower than any of our neighboring hotels.

Live entertainment will take place throughout the evening, including Hawaiian music performances by Roland Chang, a member of the Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning group Kanilau, as well as skilled hula dancers that will mesmerize guests with their graceful movements.

The Embassy Suites Thanksgiving feast will feature a carving station of not only oven-roasted turkey, but also Hawaiian sea-salt crusted prime rib of beef with creamy horseradish and au jus. Crab-crusted mahi mahi topped with a papaya and cilantro salsa, as well as stuffed pork-loin with sun-dried papaya, mango, and pineapple served with a port wine sauce are two additional entrees.

Savory sides will include Portuguese-sausage stuffing mixed with watercress; green bean casserole with smoked bacon, wild mushrooms, and fried Maui onions; corn on the cob with sweet basil-butter; and roasted garlic-infused creamed potatoes. Fresh greens include a cucumber, feta, and olive salad; a mix of marinated plum tomatoes and fresh mozzarella; a spinach salad with toasted pecans, diced papaya, red onions, and an apple cider vinaigrette, plus a broccoli salad tossed with Maui onions, cheddar cheese, raisins, and cherry tomatoes.

The sweetest part is the assortment of desserts that evening, which will include warm bread pudding with crème anglaise, apple cobbler, German chocolate cake, plus pecan, pumpkin, and apple pie.

So, gather up your family and friends and head on down to Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk’s first-ever Thanksgiving Day Buffet. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the resort at (808) 921-2345.
