On November 9, 2009, the Outrigger Guam Resort, OHANA Oceanview Guam, and the OHANA Bayview Guam entered into an Employer Partnership with the U.S. Army Reserve. This groundbreaking, public-private joint venture offers business owners incentives for employing Army Reserve Soldiers. The partnership also aims to ease the burden many businesses experience when their Soldier-Employees takes a leave of absence from their civilian workplace to serve our nation in the ongoing Global War on Terror.
A signing ceremony, held at the Outrigger Guam Resort, made the partnership official. Two other employers, the Guam Police Department and Health Services of the Pacific also attended. Representatives from the United States Army included the Adjutant General of the Guam National Guard, Major General Donald J. Goldhorn, and the Commanding General of the 9th Mission Support Command, Brigadier General Alexander I. Kozlov.
The Guam familia (family) is proud to honor our employees who have chosen to serve in the U.S. armed services.
