By Dean Nakasone  It’s Perry on the left and Price on the right!” After many years at John Dominis, KSSK’s top-rated Saturday morning show has returned to Waikiki — to their new home at the brand new Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beachcomber located in the OHANA Waikiki Beachcomber (OBC) hotel.
For the last two Saturdays, more than 100 kama‘aina and visitors have participated in this fun, celebrity-filled, four-hour event that showcases the restaurant, the hotel, and the Waikiki experience. Half the fun is not knowing who’s going to drop by the show or what’s going to be given away to the audience. During the inaugural show on June 11, guests included Lt. Governor James “Duke” Aiona, Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann, Jake Shimabukuro, Cecilio & Kapono, and Frank DeLima among others. Even the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile made an appearance at the show—well, Oscar Mayer representatives were on the show. The Weinermobile was prominently parked in the porte cochere of the hotel, much to the delight of guests and visitors who scrambled to take photos with this one-of-a-kind vehicle!

Some ‘ohana members did their own reconnaissance of the show last weekend and gave it a rousing thumbs-up. Mahalo to the Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beachcomber team for doing a great job with Hawaii’s #1 Saturday morning radio show!

Tickets for the live Saturday Morning Show are $19.95 per person, $12.50 for children ages 6 to 12 (children under age 6 are free), and includes Jimmy Buffett’s at the Beachcomber’s all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with made-to-order omelets, pancakes, eggs, breakfast meats, kalua pork and cabbage, chicken katsu and curry, fruit, and desserts – the restaurant staff does a great job to make sure no one leaves hungry!
