Local School Choirs Perform at Outrigger Guam Resort’s 12 Days of Christmas Caroling

BY LISA LENCOWSKI — The Outrigger Guam Resort celebrated the holiday season with its annual 12 Days of Christmas Caroling and nightly appearances by Santa Claus from Dec. 13 through Dec. 24.

We enjoyed St. Paul Christian School Music Band who played jazz renditions of Christmas songs under the direction of music teacher, Jojo Begantin. Guam Adventist Academy with Musical Director Marie Dela Paz astonished spectators with their handbell musical performances, while PC Lujan Elementary School’s 3rd through 5th grade classes put on a sensational performance of Christmas songs in Chamorro (local language) accompanied by local dancers. Santa Claus and his helpers greeted guests and helped spread Christmas cheer.

The 12 Days of Christmas Caroling concluded with a special two-hour concert featuring the Guam Territorial Band.
