BY CLARISSA SACLA — In the spirit of the Inafa’maolek (Hospitality) value, the Outrigger Guam Beach Resort (OGM) hosted two students from the John F. Kennedy High School’s Job Shadow Program on March 3-4. This high school initiative assists students in preparing for the Lodging Management Program (LMP) national competition, as well as the ProStart Culinary program. Both provide students at the secondary level with education and training for jobs in tourism, hotel, restaurant management and culinary arts.

It was a pleasure to host Diane Esmeralda (future executive chef) and Ciara Taijeron (future food and beverage manager).
