The Phang Nga Bay Regatta attracts a fleet of yachts from all over the world, including Malaysia, Malta, Singapore, France, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom

The Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort was honored to be a sponsor of the prestigious Phang Nga Bay Regatta, which is one of the most popular and picturesque events on the Asian sailing circuit. This important annual event attracts a fleet of yachts from all over the world, including Malaysia, Malta, Singapore, France, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

This year’s regatta began on day one from the new Ao Po Grand Marina, on the north-eastern end of Phuket Island, to Laem Sak in the far north; south to Paradise Resort on Koh Yao Noi on day two; then across to Railay Beach in Krabi on day three; then back to Au Chalong, virtually next to Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort, on day four.

The Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort was also very fortunate to have the honor of hosting the final evening event and the presentation of the grand prize. All winners received a bottle of wine specially-engraved with the Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort logo, along with the winning race category. Over 350 people attended the stunning dining and music event with the soon-to-be completed Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort as the backdrop. There is considerable interest by both locals and visitors to return to the resort once it opens in April of this year.

This was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the resort and for Outrigger to begin its support and involvement in the local community and associated events.
