From pumpkin carving, to trick-or-treating, from spooky story-telling, to an “appearance” by the King of Rock-n-Roll himself, Outrigger’s Waikiki beachfront hotels and Waikiki Beach Walk® are celebrating Halloween with a selection of fun, family-friendly events and activities.
Spooky Tales – October 30
Outrigger Waikiki – 10 a.m.
Outrigger Reef – 1 p.m.
Waikiki Beach Walk – 3 p.m.
What would Halloween be without a few spooky tales? Famed island storyteller Lopaka Kapanui will give you “chicken skin” with his collection of spine-tingling tales – both modern and ancient.
Pumpkin Carving – October 30 – October 31

Outrigger Waikiki and Outrigger Reef
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Employees will be showing off their artistic talents with a pumpkin carving contest. Everyone is invited to view the ghoulish results.

Waikiki Beach Walk tenants are also joining the fun with their own pumpkin creations on display in their individual stores
Keiki Trick-or-Treating – October 31
Waikiki Beach Walk – 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
A selection of Waikiki Beach Walk tenants will have trick-or-treat candies available for the keiki this Halloween.
Halloween “Thriller” – October 31
Waikiki Beach Walk – 8 p.m.
Outrigger Reef – 9 p.m.
Performances of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” have become a Halloween custom. Outrigger joins that tradition with local dancers donning their best zombie costumes for a special presentation of “Thriller.”
