Outrigger Waikoloa Beach Wins Prestigious Travel Industry Award

The Outrigger Waikoloa Beach is the proud winner of Classic Custom Vacations’ Best of Hawaii 2000 Po’okela Award for Customer Satisfaction. Ron Letterman, President of Classic Custom Vacations, presented the award to us during their annual Vendor Luncheon held at the Sheraton Waikiki on November 28.

Classic Custom Vacations is a large, high-end travel wholesaler company, and the recipients of the Po’okela Awards are judged by Custom’s staff who vote for the properties they deem to be “best to work with” and “who most satisfy our customers.”

We are honored and humbled to receive this award for Hawaii’s Big Island — especially since it has only been one year since the Outrigger Waikoloa Beach reopened. This is a tremendous achievement on the part of our staff, considering the caliber of resorts on our island that we are up against, and compared to those that received awards from the other islands. Our ‘ohana have worked very hard this year amongst much change and diversity, and this award is a tribute to their dedication to reposition our property into a world-class destination resort.
