This month, we bid a fond aloha to two long-time employees, Hyang Yong Ha and Myong Cha Kwon. Hyang Yong, who has worked for Outrigger for 19 years, was presented with gifts aloha from Barry Wallace, as he shared Outrigger’s appreciation for her many years of hard work and dedication. Dr. Chuck Kelley was on hand to present Myong Cha Kwon with her gifts of aloha and his heartfelt thanks on behalf of Outrigger and the Kelley family for her 22 years of dedicated service.
Hyang Yong says she has enjoyed her employment with Outrigger, especially during Housekeeping Week when Housekeeping celebrated with luncheons and games. She will spend her retirement watching her grandchild and enjoying every day of her life relaxing and having fun.
Myong had the chance to dance with Dr. Chuck as she and her coworkers celebrated her retirement! Her fondest memories are of the employee Christmas parties. Myong Cha is planning to spend her retirement relaxing and enjoying herself, and she and her family have plans to visit New Zealand in a couple of years.
Both Hyang Yong and Myong Cha would like to thank Outrigger Hotels & Resorts and the Kelley family for the support and great times over the years. Both especially wish to thank the Kelley’s for treating all the Outrigger employees as part of their family.
On behalf of Outrigger Hotels & Resorts and the Kelley family, we wish both Hyang Yong and Myong Cha a heartfelt mahalo and aloha for all their hard work and dedication! A hui hou!
