The headline in Fiji’s major daily newspaper read “The Prince and the pupils” and included a color photo of the future King of England chatting with a group of Fijiian school children. And it all took place at Castaway Island Resort, a sister hotel to the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji!
Prince of Wales, Charles Philip Arthur George Windsor, heir to the throne of the British Commonwealth, and better known worldwide as Prince Charles, paid a special visit to Castaway as part of a whirlwind visit to Fiji.
The Prince’s visit was a prestigious event for Fiji, as an independent member of the Commonwealth, and a thrilling moment for all of the great management and staff at Castaway. It will certainly be a moment that the children will cherish for a lifetime!
