The IT Men

I am pleased to share with you some exciting changes within the Information Technologies, Systems, and Operations department. With the continued growth of our company, adding properties to our network, and the responsibilities left by our friend Van Okasaki after his passing last year, we found it necessary to restructure our department.

Please join me in congratulating Bert Chock, promoted to System Analyst, responsible for the Tandem NSK and Sun systems, better known to most of you as Stellex 1.0 and Stellex 2.0; Glenn Goo, promoted to Systems Support Supervisor, also responsible for supporting the Tandem NSK day-to-day operations, as well our Help Desk services; and Jacky Lee, promoted to Systems Engineer, with responsibilities of overseeing all system servers and computer hardware, which is part of the Outrigger Wide Area Network.

Joining our team, who many of you may remember from Waikoloa, is Eric Daley. He replaces Bert as our new Network Administrator, responsible for Network Security, Internet, and Email services.

Congratulations to Bert, Jacky, and Glenn on their recent promotions and their outstanding accomplishments over the years, and welcome, Eric, to our indispensable I/T team!
