Funny man Frank De Lima headlines as this month’s free Na Mele No Na Pua program series at the Waikiki Beach Walk® scheduled for Sunday, April 27, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Embassy Suites® – Waikiki Beach Walk® Grand Lanai stage.
This month’s program offers something different, as Hawaii’s favorite comedian Frank De Lima entertains the crowd with his unique mix of music and comedy. Frank has been entertaining Hawaii with his zany parodies and outrageous sense of humor for over 30 years. Since his early childhood, he realized he had the natural talent and desire to make his friends and family laugh.
Frank incorporates current events, fads, attitudes, and people into his performances. His multi-cultural ethnic background of Portuguese, Hawaiian, Irish, Chinese, English, Spanish, and Scottish serves as inspiration for his comedic material. He perfectly personifies Hawaii’s diverse ethnicities and cultures, which gives him the ability to capture, entertain, and relate to his audience.
Just a reminder, starting this month, the Na Mele No Na Pua signature concert series shifts to a bi-monthly schedule, with concerts being held on the final Sunday of the scheduled month. The concert time remains the same from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the Grand Lanai of the Embassy Suites – Waikiki Beach Walk hotel. Each concert is free and open to the public while seating allows. Valet parking for up to four hours is available for $5 to concert-goers at Embassy Suites – Waikiki Beach Walk (201 Beachwalk) and Wyndham Vacation Ownership – Waikiki Beach Walk (227 Lewers Street), with any same-day purchase from any Waikiki Beach Walk merchant.
