Outrigger and Affiliates Receive Honors at TravelAge West WAVE Awards

Earlier this month, Robin Graf and Sun Bee joined me in Beverly Hills to attend the TravelAge West WAVE (Western Agents’ Votes of Excellence) Awards. Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, The Wyland Waikiki and Embassy Suites&reg – Waikiki Beach Walk&reg hotel were each recognized with Editor’s Pick awards at the magazine’s annual gala celebration.

Outrigger Hotels & Resorts was one of five hotel companies honored in the “Best Travel Agent Support, Hawaii Hotel” category. The Wyland Waikiki and Embassy Suites – Waikiki Beach Walk were among the four Hawaii hotels recognized in the “Best New Property or Major Renovation, Hawaii” category.

Over 125 companies, individuals, and destinations were recognized by the readers of TravelAge West at the WAVE Awards ceremony. Honorees were celebrated in 47 categories that spanned the cruise, tour operator, airline, hotel and resort, and destination travel fields. The awards gave travel agents in the Western United States the opportunity to recognize the outstanding qualities and services of their travel supplier partners.
