Bittner, The Pleasure of Writing, celebrated their grand opening with a traditional Hawaiian blessing last week at Waikiki Beach Walk. Located at the corner of Beachwalk and Kalia Road, Bittner is a leading specialist and retailer of fine writing instruments representing only the finest brands such as Cartier, Dunhill, Namiki, Stipula, Bentley, Porsche, Tibaldi, Faber-Castell, Elie Bleu, Michael’s Fat Boys, Disney, Conway-Stewart, William Henry, and Visconti.

Shoppers will enjoy browsing through a wide selection of colored inks, hand-made paper, leather journals,and other writing accessories. Branching out from their original store in Carmel, California, Waikiki Beach Walk was selected as the location for the first Bittner store in Hawaii. Store owners Cynthia and Detlef Bittner partnered with Joe Corelli’s Koa and Tracy Lewis General Contractor to design their boutique shop featuring the finest curly koa wood from privately reforested Hawaiian growth curly maple and ebony wood. The display panel and their exquisite merchandise collection are quite a sight to see, so be sure to stop by on your next visit to Waikiki Beach Walk.
