Australia Day antics in Fiji

BY DONNA PARKIN –There was no shortage of guests eager to test their talents at Castaway Island, Fiji’s activities as part of the resort’s January 26 Australia Day celebrations that included beach cricket, tug-o-war and relay races.

Kids enjoyed snorkeling in the pool and Aussie flag face painting. Lunch was a fun barbecue and dinner featured Australia Day specials with the celebrations concluding on the beach with a bonfire and trivia competition.
