Neil Murakami

It is with pleasure that I join Human Resources in congratulating Neil Murakami on his promotion as the new General Manager of the Wyndham Vacation Ownership-Waikiki Beach Walk.

Neil’s hospitality career started in 1992 at the OHANA Waikiki Beachcomber hotel, where he earned much of his experience and climbed the ladder to become the Front Office Manager in 2005.

With the completion of the Waikiki Beach Walk project, a new opportunity presented itself, and in 2006, Neil accepted the position of assistant general manager for the Wyndham Vacation Ownership-Waikiki Beach Walk. For the past several months, however, Neil has been on loan as general manager of the Royal Garden Hotel & Spa, which Wyndham Vacation Ownership purchased in January and is converting into a time-share property.

We are delighted to have Neil back at the Wyndham Vacation Ownership-Waikiki Beach Walk, and as general manager, Neil is now responsible for managing the overall resort operations, including the front office, bell desk, and housekeeping departments.

When he’s not hard at work, Neil enjoys spending time with his wife Lori and their two children, Evan and Kayla.  He is also a huge fan of University of Hawaii sports and enjoys watching the Warriors play.
