I am pleased to join Human Resources in welcoming a familiar face, Teri Orton, to her new position as Director of Sales, Embassy Suites® – Waikiki Beach Walk® (ESH). Teri, who most recently was the General Manager of the OHANA Islander Waikiki, will be responsible for the comprehensive internal and external sales and marketing strategies and related plans to maximize market share and revenue and occupancy growth at the ESH.

Prior to joining Outrigger, Teri was the Regional General Manager and Resort Operations/Asset Manager for Anekona Management. Before that, she was the General Manager of W Honolulu Diamond Head and responsible for the daily operations of this boutique hotel and fine dining restaurant. During her time there, Teri handled everything from ensuring brand standards, to planning their $3 million renovation and spearheading PR and Sales & Marketing efforts. She also held the positions of Director of Rooms and Director of Revenue Management while there.

Teri’s extensive experience in all areas of hotel operations will help guide this property to new heights, while remaining focused on the customer.
