Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort (TST) in Phuket, Thailand, held its soft opening on April 2. TST is a private, luxury beachfront, mixed residential resort located along the southeast coast of Phuket island. The resort features one- and two-bedroom suites and several penthouses. Guests may enjoy a variety of amenities, including butler service, a total spa and wellness experience, and gourmet dining. One of the most unique amenities TST offers its residents and guests is ‘Serenity Toys’ — a collection of catamarans, kayaks, and a speed boat.
TST developers Green Heritage Group and the Outrigger brand have proved to be a winning combination, as only a handful of units remain to be sold. To help sell these last few units, Green Heritage Group invited some VIPs to help — Thailand’s premier tennis player Paradorn Srichaphan and his glamorous wife Natalie Glebova (Miss Canada and Miss Universe 2005).

Paradorn and Natalie visited the Outrigger Serenity Terraces in March and took full advantage of all the property has to offer — including visiting the neighboring islands via speed boat and sampling Serenity’s Chef Louis Poh Yu-Ming’s excellent cuisine.

Following their visit, Paradorn and Natalie invited about 40 of their friends to an Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort cocktail party. The event was held at Zense Gourmet Deck and Lounge Panorama on the 17th floor of Central World in the centre of the Thai capital. Natalie told their guests about the Outrigger Serenity Terraces and Phuket: “It was really peaceful, really just tranquil. You’ll be amazed. We enjoyed a wonderful spa and great food.” Paradorn admitted, “We didn’t want to come back [home]. There’s a lot of things to do, but it’s still private. We will be going back.”

I admit it was heartwarming to hear Thailand’s most glamorous couple speaking so passionately and enthusiastically about Phuket and Outrigger’s hospitality. Congratulations to General Manager Pieter van der Hoeven and his team of hosts for a job well done.
